Anna Kristinna Palomo

Kristinna joined the San Francisco based organization called Smarter Good. She works globally with the leaders of nonprofit organizations to solve the world’s most intractable problems while creating social impact in the area of Sustainability, Workforce Development, Civics, Education and Health. She works with a development team that has secured over several million dollars in funding through grant writing. As a New York based Social Worker for two decades, Kristinna has housed over 100 homeless New Yorkers, some who were suffering from mental illness and substance abuse. She has been responsible for the safety and quality of life of over 300 mentally ill seniors living under the guardianship of New York City. As the Assistant Director of Programs of New York Foundation for Senior Citizens, where she worked for 10 years, she was in charge of overseeing the welfare of 5000 plus New Yorkers living in Manhattan working within a multi-million dollar budget. Most notably, during 9/11, Kristinna led one of the distribution efforts of donations to reach the stranded residents of lower Manhattan. Kristinna also served as the HEDIS Manager for Quality Improvement for HealthFirst’s Mental Health Program. In the Philippines, she has served as consultant to the Asian Development Bank to develop partnerships for its Relocation Program of informal settlers. In addition, she was part of the K-12 Plus pilot tech voc program in partnership with the German government and Philippine Chamber of Commerce. She earned her Masters in Social Work from New York University where she also served as an adjunct field instructor. She is pursuing her Doctorate in Social Development at the University of the Philippines’ College of Social Work and Community Development. Currently, Kristinna is also part of ABS-CBN’s Global Integrated Public Services which is the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of the largest media network in the Philippines. She is available to consult on CSR projects.
