My earliest experiences in the development sector date back to secondary scool, where I was an organizer and fundraiser for a Nepalese organization caring for exploited children. After completing my BSc, I travelled and worked, finding my passion in climate change, environmental protection and sustainable development. I undertook my MSc to develop my knowledge in these areas, and began what is now my career at Belltown, initially supporting on community- and rural stakeholder engagement. That role has since changed dramatically: I helped a new arm of the business focused on repowering aging wind farms. I have spent most of the last year conducting a market study, financial modelling of onshore UK wind farms, building relationships with new partners, submitting tenders/proposals and securing land rights rights. I am looking for an opportunity to transfer my skills into development and be of service to others, especially in climate adaptation.
