Apollo Segawa; PhD research fellow, Makerere University(Agrifood systems and Processing technologis) MBA-Edinburgh Business School(scotland), Msc Food technology- Univ of Johannesburg(SA), Bsc Physiology-University of Witwaterand(SA) Univ, Bsc Food technology-Makerere University(Uganda) is a professional agribusiness management specialist, QMS, value addition, Food technologist and Agro entrepreneurship incubation leader and consultant in the East Central and Southern African region. He is 49-year-old and is the Executive Director of CURAD (www.curadincubator.org), the leading agribusiness incubator in Africa hosted at Makerere University He has started, supported mentored and natured over 1000 agro innovative entrepreneurs over the last 9 years at CURAD. Apollo Segawa is Chairman of The Uganda Agribusiness Incubation Alliance (ABIAU). CURAD is the leading agribusiness incubator in Uganda with common user processing facilities for Coffee (Kabanyolo), Fruit and beverages (Kapeeka), Fresh and dry Horticulture, Packaging production (Namanve) and Sweet potato and tuber processing (Namanve). Under his leadership CURAD runs the National Agribusiness Innovation Challenge since 2014 and now in its 7th year. He pioneered the first commercial banana juice product
