Ayrin Zahner

I am a Mid/Sr. level professional (over 10 years' experience), most recently providing operational and technical support to USAID-funded agriculture (Feed the Future), climate resilience, education, and governance projects worth between $5 million and $138 million in Africa and Haiti. This includes environmental compliance and M&E support in addition to grants/subcontract management. I am skilled in budget and contract management, including compliance and HR. I also have experience in Business Development; I recently wrote the winning proposal for USAID/Haiti's Reforestation project ($40 million) currently in start-up phase and USAID/OFDA Community Based Disaster Risk Management project (concluding) also in Haiti. My focus is on inclusive participatory processes empowering stakeholders to prioritize and implement their own solutions . My experience includes working with multilateral and bilateral donors such as USAID, CDC, World Bank, local governmental institutions, non-profit organizations, and the private sector. I have excellent quantitative, writing, customer service and collaboration skills. As a supervisor my goal is to help my team gain skills and grow professionally in a supportive and constructive environment. I have successfully managed projects and teams remotely, and I have field experience in West/Central Africa (including Madagascar) and Haiti. I speak French fluently U.S. citizen.
