Bernard has more than 14 years of programming and technical experience in Public Health having worked for highly reputable international NGOs (Pact, Abt Associates, FHI360 and World Vision) in Zambia with funding from USAID, UKAID, EU and SADC. His major areas of experience are in HIV/AIDS, Sexual and Reproductive Health, family planning, gender, child protection and social advocacy. He has worked with diverse groups such as adolescents and young people, women, the underprivileged and marginalized and professionals at all levels in society. Bernard is currently working for Pact under USAID Zambia, Community HIV Prevention Project (USAID Z-CHPP) as Regional Program Coordinator responsible for overall management of Z-CHPP (Community HIV Prevention and DREAMS initiative) Bernard holds a Masters' Degree in Development Studies, a Bachelors Degree with a major in Psychology, a Professional Diploma in Project Management and a Certificate in M&E.
