With an advanced degree in International Development and fluency in Arabic and English, I have been working with NGOs and a leading international organisation for more than 7 years in 5 different contexts, including volatile ones such as Yemen and Somalia. During which, I was strongly involved in all phases of project management and could efficiently utilize my organisational, negotiation, and communication skills in building and maintaining the institutional relationships, for the organisations I worked for. Moreover, I was in charge during my recent job experience of an emergency response operation during which I was leading a team of 58 staff members. During my experience with the ICRC, I was heavily involved in steering the institution’s strategic positioning and designing programs, especially those related to the emergency response. I could also develop my capacity in writing working papers and extensive summary reports through which I worked with different ICRC departments and developed my knowledge technically in the institutional reporting. Through the reporting process, I mastered consolidating messages, structuring reports and how best to present information bearing in mind strategic goals. Thanks to my educational background and previous experience in finance, I was strongly involved in matters related to budget control with its related documentation and archiving.
