Summary

Camille Razalison is a law professional and a member of the Bar of Madagascar, graduated Master in Business Law from the University of Antananarivo (Madagascar) and has read law at the same university to obtain a Master II in Business Law. He also holds a Barrister's Certificate (CAPA or Certificat d'Aptitude pour la Profession d'Avocat) from the Bar School of Madagascar (IFPA). He was previously a Senior Legal Consultant as an in-house lawyer in the Antananarivo-based consulting firm FTHM Consulting. FTHM Consulting is one of the few ISO 9001-2015 standards-certified companies in Madagascar. Before that, Camille has been a Law Consultant at Juristconsult Chambers, a law firm located in the heart of Port-Louis in Mauritius. At Juristconsult, a member of DLA Piper Africa Group network, Camille dealt with non-contentious and cross-border transactional works involving Madagascan and Mauritian entities. Madagascar and Mauritius have strong commercial ties, signed not few bilateral agreements. The two islands of the Indian Ocean (IO) are both part of SADC, IOC, COMESA and IO Rim Association. He has been part of Juristconsult Chambers' team in full time from May 2014 to July 2015. Before moving to Mauritius, Camille was a part of the team of John W. Ffooks & Co., an international law firm based in Antananarivo (Republic of Madagascar) from February 2011 to April 2014. John W. Ffooks & Co. practices focus on French-speaking countries in Africa sharing the OHADA law system. The Organisation for the Harmonisation of Business Law or OHADA is a legal system in which the same business legislations are applicable across 17 countries in Africa. John W. Ffooks & Co. was a member of Bowmans network, formerly Bowman Gilfillan Africa Group. In September 2018, Camille has been selected as one of the recipients of the ILFA (International Lawyers for Africa) Flagship Program which allowed him to pursue advanced courses in various top- notch law firms (Allen & Overy, White & Case, Clifford Chance, etc.) and barristers' chambers (3 Verulam Buildings) in London and to be assigned as a secondee for a period of 5 months in Dubai from October 2018 until February 2019 in the Legal Department of GECAS (General Electrics Capital Aviation Services), specialised in aircraft leasing and financing. Camille is a member of the Young International Council for Commercial Arbitration (YICCA) and a founding member of the first Toastmasters International Club in Madagascar. 1/8
