Carrie Hessler-Radelet is the president and CEO of Project Concern International. PCI is a global development organization working with families and communities to enhance health, end hunger and overcome hardship in 16 countries. Hessler-Radelet served as director of the Peace Corps (2012-2017) and served as deputy director beginning in 2010. She has spent decades leading global health efforts with John Snow, Inc. consulting on programs for USAID and the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief. She also founded the Special Olympics in The Gambia and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Western Samoa. Carrie holds a master of science in health policy and management from Harvard University.
