An experienced Team Leader and Project Manager in implementing projects for transformational change in sustainable transport policy and planning, deployment of technology to address climate impacts of transport and engineering with over 35 years varied experience in Western and Eastern Europe, Caucasus, Africa and Middle East. Currently leading a KfW-funded Sustainable Mobility Programme in Tbilisi, Georgia. Recently completed a WB-funded ITS Strategy for Albanian Roads Authority and an EIB-funded National Toll Road Strategy for Romania, an ADB Project in Uzbekistan and IADB-funded Government Advisory role in Belize. Previously completed as Team Leader two KfW-funded projects in Georgia to address the Climate Change impacts of Transport on Air Quality and Emissions by implementing ITS solutions. Previously Advisor to Ministry of Transport and Communications in the Sultanate of Oman in policy areas such as Transport Investment and Appraisal, National Spatial Strategy, development of National Traffic Model, Road Asset Management System and an updating of National Highway Design Guidelines.
