Dynamic, seasoned and creative professional with 15 years + of International development experience in West Africa with ChildFund International in Senegal, Plan International Burkina Faso, Plan International Benin and CARE International Benin. I have been working in global development over the years contributing to unlock the potential of the most deprived and vulnerable children, their families and communities. Working for child focused development organizations, I have garnered substantial hands on experience in livelihoods, water, sanitation and hygiene, education, health, child protection programming. Constantly staying at the cutting edge of development innovations, I have worked hard to harness the potential of technology to optimize program delivery. Addressing the root causes of poverty is also being active in policy dialogue to create the right policy environment. I have played a major role in raising policy issues and ensuring policy is made and translated into appropriate programs. I have assumed prime responsibility for business development for 7 years and have worked with bilateral and multilateral donors. I have been in the senior management role for the past 13 years. I am conversant with programming approaches that empower local communities, keep them in the driving seat and work towards their financial self-reliance.
