Political economist bridging governance, catalytic finance, and locally led development through a global systems lens. Twenty years of experience leading and advising development and social impact programs across 20+ countries—from fragile states to frontier and emerging markets. Currently piloting Common Sovereignty, a “beyond aid” model designed to empower communities in the Global South, U.S., and Europe to: a) co-create translocal solutions to shared global challenges where root causes align across contexts; b) overcome the aid dependency trap through blended finance structures and asset-based approaches that deliver measurable social and financial returns; and c) generate demand-side evidence to shape future global norms, frameworks, and capital flows—advancing more inclusive and participatory global integration. Alongside this work, I help NGOs, donors, impact investors, and other social change agents navigate complexity, mitigate political risk, and shift power to communities. I’m currently open to consulting and fractional roles—independently or through Adapt—with flexibility for travel or relocation.
