Crispin Smith is a professional licensed civil engineer and urban planner with over 16 years of experience in project management, social and environmental impact assessment, urban / regional planning, housing and infrastructure development, resettlement and human rights. He has managed numerous large-scale projects for a variety of clients including governments, NGOs, consulting firms, resource extraction and infrastructure companies, developers, and the United Nations. With a background in civil engineering and urban planning, Crispin is able to manage a diversity of projects, oversee large multi-disciplinary teams, and provide key technical inputs into a project’s planning, design, construction and implementation in according with local, national and international standards, including the IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles, EBRD Performance Requirements and other guidelines. He is fluent in French and English.
