Raised and educated in a small village of Romania I am a stubborn and incurable optimistic with work experience (on-site and remote) in five countries and education in three countries – Kenya, Ethiopia, Guatemala, United States, Spain, Romania. Proactive by design and highly organized by choice I fuel my energy from challenges, new learning experiences and inspiring individuals. I received my Masters in International Affairs, with a concentration in Conflict & Security and Development from The New School (New York) in August 2018. Fluent in English, Spanish, Romanian with an intermediate knowledge of French. Particularly well versed in the areas of: peacekeeping, peacebuilding and development, state-building, conflict prevention, countering/preventing violent extremism (CVE/PVE), women and youth empowerment. Competencies: research; policy and strategic analysis; programme/project management; monitoring and evaluation; communications; office support; external relations. Looking for opportunities that can enhance and expand my above-competencies and prepare me to work in conflict-affected and fragile countries.
