I am Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. International Policy Fellow. I have been in the field of Early Childhood. Development, Special Education and Disability for over 20 years. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Special Education. Born in Ecuador, pursued my graduate studies in California. Prior to moving to Panama City, Panama,I lived in New York City for ten years, where I was the Director of the Columbia University School of Public Health Head Start Program. I have also worked as an Early Childhood Education Consultant for the Open Society Foundation. I was the first Disability Specialist for The Latin America and Caribbean Regional Office of UNICEF.As a consultant with Special Olympics International, I provided Technical Assistance and Professional Development for the Global Youth Department. I am acommitted to promoting equal rights of children and families of persons Disabilities and around the world.
