Daniel A. Silverstein is a private sector and capital markets strategic advisor in agricultural and economic development and an Adjunct Professor at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. He co-created for USAID/BFS Feed the Future Public-Private Partnership Opportunity Explorer (https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=public-private+partnership+opportunity+explorer&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8). He is a founding member of the Tufts Nutrition Council, an advisory board serving Dean Dariush Mozaffarian at the Friedman graduate School of Nutrition Science and Policy. Previously, he wrote a blog column for The Huffington Post on topics related to extreme poverty and hunger. He also is an advisor to the Iowa State University Seed Science Center.
