Summary

I am bilingual and have a passion for working in community outreach and the social development area. I have more than 15 years of corporate experience in Sales and Marketing. I served two full 3-year terms as the Commissioner and Chair of the Economic Development Committee for the Washington State Commission on Asian-Pacific American Affairs (CAPAA). I have been honored by the Northwest Asian Weekly Foundation, the International Examiner, and former Seattle Congressman Jim McDermott for community service. As a founder of the Washington State and India Trade Relations Action Committee (WASITRAC), I facilitated several trade missions to India. I helped with the first Centennial Sister-Port agreement signed between the Port of Seattle and Dhamra Port in India in 2011. I was invited to the White House Holiday Celebration by President Obama in 2011 and 2012.
