Dr Joram Sebatware is a holder of Masters in veterinary medicine from the Morogoro University of Agriculture, Tanzania with more than twenty years (from 1996 to date) working in agriculture and livestock field as well as in other developmental programs in Rwanda. Presently he is the sustainable livelihood improvement specialist and a consultant. He has over Ten years been involved in capacity building to cooperatives and non government organization target group in both rural and urban Rwanda. He has conducted project baseline surveys, evaluation and impact assessment for developmental projects and programs, development of projects, and developed strategic plans for more than ten (10) cooperatives, unions and federations. He has also worked with the Government of Rwanda for 9 years which gives him clear understand of Rwanda setting both strategically and community livelihood interventions. He has worked for five (5) years with international Non-Governmental organizations in Rwanda (LWF, and SURF Rwanda Programs) in the area of livelihood improvement and poverty alleviation projects as well as working as a sustainable livelihood consultant for five (5) years specialized in project appraisal, business plan development, baseline surveys, project midterm reviews and end project impact assessment. funded by survivors fund UK (2009), • Implemented livelihood improvement projects for genocide survivors associations and cooperative that included capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, By Survivors Fund Rwanda(2008), • Produced reports on the performance of the livelihood improvement projects and impacts generated to the target groups, • Successfully participated as livestock specialist (associate consultant) with Africa development consultant (ADC) Limited team of expert in the final impact assessment of inland lakes integrated development and management support project (Paigelac) implemented by the Ministry of agriculture and animal resources, • Participated in the midterm review and produced a final report of the Plan International Rwanda's project supported through the funds of European Commission in districts of; Rwamagana, Kayonza, and Gatsibo in Eastern Province of Rwanda. Dr Joram has been instrumental for two years (2015 -2016) from time to time , in the capacity of associate consultant in the development of project business plans including establishment of project benchmark data (baselines) for Africa Development Consultants (ADC) ltd projects who is implementing a USAIDF agreement to support cooperatives in developing fundable business plans. ADC is supporting cooperatives funded by USAIDF to develop fundable business plan that include all steps of project appraisal steps including baseline surveys and project document development. Currently Dr Joram is a sustainable livelihood consultant and has co-founded MADO Livestock Transforming company limited through which he has implemented several consultancy assignments including cooperative strategic plan developments, cooperative capacity building to mention but a few.
