Dinesh Malla

I am civil engineer with more than 8 years of experience in WASH in Nepal, Afghanistan, Lesotho. My expertise is in project management, procurement, budgeting, and contract management of WASH projects. My primary responsibilities and duties consist of assisting the Government Agencies in the execution of projects on development in preparing estimates, bid documents, budgets, workplans, procurement plans. I have been involved in bid evaluation, construction supervision and project management of rural water supply and sanitation works. My last assignment was with Cowater International Inc. in Lesotho where I was the Team Leader/Project Manager for WASH implementation project funded by Millennium Challenge Corporation in project management and construction supervision of the works. Here we were a team of international professionals supporting Millennium Challenge Account - Lesotho and Department of Rural Water Supply of Lesotho in the implemention of 300 water supply and sanitation schemes with hygiene in the ten districts of Lesotho.

My education comprises of Master in Development Management, Master of Engineering ( Water ) and Bachelor of Civil Engineer. Other areas of work where I have worked in management are : building schools and clinics, irrigation, water resources planning, rural roads.

I possess very strong project management skills, with a focus on overall management and control, budget management including forecasting. I am a very sincere, dedicated, honest, and creative person, and believe in achieving results with flying colors.
