Dire has vast experience both in the public and private sector. Notably as Business Consultant within the Organisation Development & Design functions at Rand Water and a Principal Specialist Organisation Effectiveness and Change at Vodacom. His experience is not only in South Africa, but spans over three years in Sub-Saharan Africa where he provided invaluable organisation effectiveness support to build wide networks. Dire Mamogale has an academic background in science, organisational design and management. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Microbiology) from WITS and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from WITS Business School. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Philosophy (MPhil) in Development Finance at the University of Stellenbosch. The course work has been completed, awaiting Research Assignment results and graduation in March 2020). The focus of his research was on determination of impact of the insurance industry development on economic growth and vice versa. He is currently employed as a Business Consultant within the Organisation Development & Design (ODD) Division in Rand Water, responsible for providing organisational development and design services to Executive Management and spearheading entity-wide projects. In the cause of Dire’s daily functions as an ODD specialist, he is the current a Project Manager on the Rand Water Productivity Program that is aimed at looking for innovative ways to ensuring stakeholders and shareholders derive value from organisational service offerings. Measuring the current state of productivity levels through identification of gaps identified to increase productivity. Role works across all levels of the organisation. The role also includes managing service providers involved in OD projects. Dire also serves as second in charge to senior management and oversees the implementation of the annual budget and spending patterns for the ODD Division. Prior to his current employment, Dire was the Principal Specialist Organisation Effectiveness and Change at Vodacom where his duties included analysis of the organisation’s effectiveness metrics, delivery of organisation design initiatives within business units, and driving the overall Organisation Effectiveness agenda.
