A senior educational program, policy & research expert with 20 years of diversified experience in selected areas of higher education policy making, planning and management, both at the systems and the institutional levels. My experience in quality Assurance & accreditation, strategic planning & management, research and evaluation, curriculum & instruction, training & capacity building, school leadership, teacher education, and teaching of English as a foreign language make me a perfect fit for any leadership and/or faculty position in a higher education institution or a government body. Currently, I am the Head of Quality Assurance & Accreditation department at the Colleges & Institutes Division, Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining RCYCI, I worked as the Manager Research Initiatives at Pre-STEP (a USAID funded project run by the Education Development Center, Washington). As an “Assistant Professor in Education ” at Hamdard Institute of Education and Social Sciences, Hamdard University Karachi, I designed and conducted professional development programs for pre-service & in-service teachers, educational managers, and social workers. My doctoral research work is a situational analysis of quality systems adopted by various higher education institutions in Pakistan I have a rich experience in organizing large events including seminars, forums, and international conferences. I have been published extensively in the areas of my expertise.
