Mr. Agaba Edgar (MS, MPH) has 10+ years of managing research and Strategic Information in HIV/AIDS including pediatric HIV, reproductive health, child & maternal care, nutrition and health care systems. His additional experience includes program M&E and data analysis. Mr. Agaba has worked with various multi-national agencies and organizations and notable ones include USAID funded programs (GINA, N-CRSP, SCORE, SPRING, STAR-EC), the academia (Tufts University, Makerere and Uganda Martyrs University and CSOs (HEPS-U) and private sector (Farst Africa-a research firm). He is highly experienced in research initiation, execution (proposal writing) and processes that involved. Agaba is skilled in data management (documentation, processing and dissemination of programmatic results). He has developed and implemented different research protocols and operating procedures and developed systems to monitor their implementation. In terms of Strategic Information, Agaba had developed M&E & Strategic Information systems across different programs focusing on HIV&AIDS prevention, care and treatment, OVC, nutrition and health across different programs in Uganda and the region. On personal level, Agaba has very good interpersonal, communication, leadership and team building skills and hence can communicate complex information, orally, in writing and electronically.
