Dr. Edridah Muheki Tukahebwa is the assistant commissioner of health services for vector control tropical diseases and the national coordinator of the NTD control program for the Uganda Ministry of Health. She coordinates a successful integrated program that is supported by more than six partners. Under her leadership, NTDs have attracted political attention.
