Elizabeth Krebs, MD MSc is inspired by the remarkable progress achieved by Rwanda since the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi and is passionate about contributing to the nations continued growth. Dr. Krebs completed fellowships in Global Health at Duke University and emergency Ultrasound at University of Pennsylvania. She co-founded Point of care Ultrasound in Resource limited Environments (PURE) to address a need for point-of-care ultrasound education in Rwanda and later spent a year in Kigali, Rwanda researching traumatic brain injury outcomes and road traffic injury prevention as an NIH Fogarty Global Health Fellow. Dr. Krebs served as an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and global health at Thomas Jefferson University/Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia and won a Fulbright Scholarship to support the University of Rwanda in developing emergency care. Presently she lives in Kigali, Rwanda working with the University of Rwanda, Healthy People Rwanda and other partners
