I hold a Juris Doctor degree in Law, a Master’s degree in Communications and a Bachelor’s degree in Bilingual Studies (French & English). In addition to being a PROCSI Certified Change Practitioner, I am also a Certified Scrum Master, PRINCE2 Foundation Certificate holder, and successfully completed a Women’s Leadership Executive Program at Yale School of Management. I have experience driving change within my Team, Division and Department, and leading a high-performing team of experts in diplomacy and protocol. I currently hold the position of Chief Privileges and Immunities Officer at the African Development Bank, where I manage a team of staff members who handle the day-to-day functions relating to the privileges and immunities of the Bank and its staff. My core responsibilities are ensuring effective management of the privileges and immunities of the Bank and its staff, engaging relevant host country officials to ensure proper implementation of the Host Country Agreements and the Headquarters Agreement and participating in the negotiation of Host Country Agreements. I also ensure that the Bank and staff comply with their obligations under the aforementioned Agreements and relevant national legislation. Earlier in my career at the Bank, I was the Senior Legal Counsel at the Administrative Tribunal of the the Bank, where I prepared case dockets and documents, supervised Tribunal staff and trained staff Bank-wide on the Bank’s dispute resolution mechanisms. Prior to joining the African Development Bank, I was a practicing attorney in various private and public sector institutions and firms in the United States. I am licensed to practice law in the State of California and in the District of Columbia and am fluent in English and French.
