A seasoned professional in market systems development (MSD), business development and livelihood development, strategic planning, applying learning to improve programming, and experience with systems change for adaptive management. I am familiar with the concept of market systems development (MSD) and resilience, adaptive management, partnership management and demonstrate experience using a mix of research methods and evidence-based practices to facilitate technical assistance in improving business performance with proven record of supporting small/medium enterprises in the natural resource sectors in business management, access to markets and most importantly access to finance; to drive impact to the last mile and improved wellbeing. During my 7 years of career in the development, humanitarian, and market systems development sector, I have implemented a dynamic programs both humanitarian and development, that seeks to proffer solution to the evolving needs of the market, poor and the marginalized, refine the program's theory of change and result chains through a variety of learning processes and activities (i.e. studies, desk reviews, analyses, learning events, stakeholder workshops, etc.), synthesize learning information, convene workgroups to review lessons and results from research and business models, and working with Civil Society Organizations(CSOs), public and private sector players to identify data needs and share lessons related to the achievement of program objectives. I am also an inclusive leader and effective communicator & listener with knowledge of program design and implementation, focused on applying the principles of complex adaptive systems, systems thinking, and systems dynamics to large-scale multi-disciplinary societal problems, strategic decision-making using a systems-change lens, and management strategies for building learning and adaptability into an organizational culture to enable such decision-making. I also try to take a systems perspective in problem understanding and an adaptive approach to management, developing highly motivated teams of problem solvers who operate with minimal supervision to carry out program activities.
