I am an aspiring development professional specialized in climate change adaptation. With a solid field experience of over 5 years in sustainable development, I currently oversee international environmental negotiations taking place in Geneva for the Government of Japan. In addition to policy analysis and diplomatic negotiations, I also take responsibility as a national focal point for many multilateral environmental agreements (MEAs) and organizations based in Geneva. My strength is the combination of my knowledge and demonstrated experience both in policy negotiations and project management, coupled with essential practical skills in GIS, proposal writing and M&E. My field experiences are focused on mainstreaming climate change adaptation in different development projects from water, disaster management, livelihoods to biodiversity. I have lead my teams to make it through difficult negotiations and tight deadlines and strengthen accountability and donor-beneficiary relationships.
