Over 15 years of international experience in review and appraisal of new investment proposals and addressing a range of social, environmental, occupational health and safety management issues in a variety of sectors within the private-sector industry, the International Finance Cooperation's (IFC) independent evaluation group, the African Development Bank (AFDB), the US Department of the Environment, and International NGOs. Possesse extensive international expertise in the preparation, review, supervision, and evaluation of environmental and social impact assessments (ESIA),resettlement action plans (RAPs), community-development plans, stakeholder-engagement plans, , and environmental and social management systems (ESMS), studies for infrastructure (mining, energy, ports, roads and water, and sanitation), agribusiness industries, and manufacturing sectors. Proven track record in working on complex social and environmental issues in sub-Saharan Africa having a pragmatic approach to handling more than 100 complex category A and B multibillion-dollar projects, and working in multi-disciplinary teams. Highly skilled in carrying out effective dialogue with stakeholders, project affected community, civil society organizations, (including local and federal level government officials), and other financially affected entities, in adherence with IFC Performance Standards and their relationships to one another in their application to complex social issues. Varied operational and consultancy experience in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, Tunisia, Egypt, Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Somalia, Peru, Colombia, Mexico and Brazil.
