
I have 33 years of diverse experience public and private sector experience, having worked for Development Finance Institutions, an energy utility and energy and engineering management consultancy. I hold an MSc Renewable Energy Development (Heriot Watt, UK ), Masters in Development Finance (Stellenbosch University, South Africa), and a BSc Honours Economics (University of Zimbabwe) which are complemented by a number of green growth and renewable energy professional development training, and guided by my passion for the latter. I have extensive experience in Project preparation: Renewable energy / low carbon / green economy; Climate finance (Global Environment Facility and Green Climate Fund) project proposals and readiness support experience. My skills include, climate/environment finance, powe /energy sector planning, project due diligence, feasibility studies, project finance, financial and economic evaluations, development impact evaluations and grant administration. I have a good appreciation of the African region energy sector, and have the desire for universal access to energy and security of supply.
