Summary

COMPETENCY SUMMARY Ms. Eveline has vast experience and competence of 13 years in project planning, management, monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) and research. She is experienced in designing MEL plan, developing research proposals, designing data collection tools, actual data collection, M& E system assessments, data quality assessment (DQA), data analysis and interpretation, data visualisation and report writing. She has developed and managed the implementation of the project monitoring and evaluation system and data bases to track and coordinate the flow of information for a wide range of donor-funded projects. Besides undertaking numerous DQAs for USAID and UKAID funded programmes, she has also participated and supported M&E and participatory monitoring and evaluation (PME) training to Village savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs), CBTs and health care providers to ensure that data maintains its quality throughout the collection and management process and that data has maximum utility in decision making by project implementers, stakeholders, and beneficiaries. MS Eveline has also worked for 3 years to provide MEL technical support to 42 innovation projects funded by UKAID through the fund manager -Human development innovation fund (HDIF)-a basket challenge fund that funded innovation projects in health, education, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). She also served as Senior M&E Adviser at the MEASURE Evaluation Tanzania project- a health system strengthening programme funded by PEFFAR to strengthen the health sector M&E system and data use at the national and sub-national level. She also worked with Jhpiego-an affiliate of John Hopkins University in the Maternal and Child Survival Programme (MCSP) funded by USAID and Wazazi na Mwana and TABASAMU projects funded by Canadian Aid. She also previously worked with Mothers2mothers Inc. supporting the Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV (PMTCT) project funded by CDC, UNICEF, and Elton John Foundation. She also worked with Care International under the Village Savings and Loan project funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation where she coordinated flow of information through MIS ensuring that saving groups record, analyse and use accurate information to track their financial performance and they generate profit. She firstly worked with the Minnesota International Health Volunteers as M&E Coordinator -supporting M&E activities in the implementation of the Tanzania Child Survival Project in Karatu District, Arusha region, the project was funded by USAID.
