Summary

Farrukh Mehboob Khan is a private sector development leader with 23 years of experience leading SME development, competitive enhancement, and business enabling environment activities in Pakistan. He has 17 years progressively responsible leadership experience with Government of Pakistan and donor funded projects, including five years as value chain development component leader on $92 million USAID Pakistan Firms Project. Currently, as the chief of party on the Pakistan Small Medium Enterprise Activity he is using his technical expertise, diplomatic skill, and intimate understanding of Pakistan’s political economy climate to contribute to SME-led economic growth, for enterprise competitiveness and job creation across 6,000 SMEs in seven economic sectors (light engineering, textile, ICT, logistics, mineral resources, agri-based processing and hospitality, including 600 women owned / women operated businesses) across Pakistan. He has a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Punjab, Lahore and a diploma in Marketing for Small and Medium Enterprises.
