Faruk Aboobakar is a Master Degree Student in Public Health and has a background in Social Anthropology at the undergraduate level. He has experience in research and coordination of the multifaceted programs for ten years (2005-2015). Of the research conducted, there is research led by Medicus Mundy Catalunya Mozambique that is particularly important. In it Faruk was Coordinator of Research Projects for two years, acting in the field of Maternal and Child Health and Prevention of Mother-to-Child Transmission (PMCT). He was part of the research team and lecturers of the Catholic University of Mozambique (UCM) as Short term Course Coordinator for HIV and Community Engagement Coordinator, for two years. For four years, he served as Technical Advisor to the program “Geração Biz”, focused on Sexual and Reproductive Health, HIV / AIDS and Gender which gave him implementation experience and coordination to social programs. In the area of teaching, Faruk has experience as a university lecturer, for about five years. Currently, Faruk develops research (mHealth project) for Malaria Consortium Mozambique, as Research Officer of Social Sciences.
