Summary

I am a consultant in the field of development, with particular expertise in parliamentary development and governance. Over the past 9 years I worked in different capacities in various Middle Eastern countries, including Egypt, Iraq, and Jordan. I was also able to use my expertise in countries outside the Middle East, including Fiji. The last fulltime position I held was Deputy Director and Head of Middle East and North Africa Programme at Global Partners Governance (GPG), a reputable organisation in the field of governance and parliamentary development. At GPG, I oversaw the designing, delivery, and evaluation of the organisation’s projects in the Middle East. As a member of the senior management team I was involved in strategic planning, direction, and internal governance of the whole organisation. In 2012, I set up Global Partners Egypt (GPE) to deliver GPG’s in-country project.
