Femi Awoyinfa is a highly experienced and accomplished leader with over 18 years' senior management experience with five international NGOs, a profile and credibility in fighting poverty and a commitment to social change. He offers an impressive record of leadership and operational management of NGOs, social enterprises and start-ups with a strong entrepreneurial orientation in strategy, program development, and innovation. He has excellent leadership skills and management competencies required to meet international development challenges - adaptive management expertise, team work, task orientation, strategic planning, personal effectiveness, relationship management and accountability. A versatile and focused leader with organizational development and people management expertise accrued over almost two decades in diverse international roles. He possesses a high level of emotional intelligence and excellent leadership skills. Over the course of his career, Femi has consistently established and maintained an enviable track record of fundraising - increasing institutional income for international NGOs and organizations. He has demonstrated success in identifying, managing, and closing complex, multi-year, technical proposals for bilateral and multilateral agencies. In the last 10 years, he has secured over $350 million in funding for organizations in sub-Saharan Africa. He is well networked and has interacted extensively with development partners and donors, managing high-level relationships with bilateral and multilateral agencies including influential private sector players across Africa, Europe and the United States. He is able to successfully develop and execute strategy and lead diverse teams within complex matrix environments. He currently leads the public sector funding unit for One Acre Fund's operations in Africa as Senior Manager - Business Development.
