
Fernando Malapi, a global strategy, technology, and agribusiness development leader, has two decades of value chain management and project leadership experience opening up opportunities for leading players in the protein space, from animal nutrition and livestock producers to meat and alt-protein processors and retailers, including transformative agriculture programs in emerging markets. He has served in advisory roles for senior-level directors, transforming businesses for client impact, and serving as a cross-functional leader to drive market innovation and support procurement and regulation processes in Africa, Asia, Oceania, and the Americas. Fernando earned an MBA at Georgetown University, where he served as team lead for a semester-long residency project, advising a top-10 global IT healthcare company on go-to-market strategies in South Korea. In addition, he received an MS in agricultural economics from Purdue University as a Fulbright scholar, and a BS in animal sciences and engineering from UNALM in Peru.
