Francis Munywoki is a business professional with extensive experience leading business operations, strategy and programmes that leveraged revenue growth, influenced society and improved lives. His experience spans across Technology, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Banking and Media industries. Culturally sensitive, commercially astute and results driven, Francis has spearheaded global business initiatives in Africa, Europe, USA and Asia. Francis is the Founder and Director of MMG International a Communications and Technology Company. He most recently served as the Managing Director Nation Newspapers at Nation Media Group, the leading media house in East and Central Africa. Previously, Francis served as the Managing Director Print Business & Director of Innovation at The Standard Group in Kenya, where he was also an executive member of the Board. Prior to this he worked for The Coca-Cola Company, PepsiCo International, Barclays Bank and Elite Computers Ltd. He is Chairman Kenya Leather Development Council, a body that is charged with developing the Leather industry and value chain in Kenya. He is a Board member at Madison General Insurance. Previously he served in the Boards of Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA), and East African Business Council (EABC). Francis holds an MBA from London Business School, and The Wharton School in the United States. He holds a degree in Electrical & Communications Engineering from Moi University in Kenya.
