Now more than ever programs need to communicate change. I am a Communications Professional with youth program management experience and I understand how to tell development stories to a wide range of audiences. Donors need to know their investments have an impact. Local Governments and communities need to know that programs deliver services, transfer capacities and demonstrate good governance. Beneficiaries need to know that their participation will strengthen their ability to get head and provide better opportunities for their families. I have more than 20 years’ experience in communication in the region; the last nine for USAID programs. I can manage branding, reporting, social media, events, VIP visits and last-minute demands for briefs in English. There is a short window to implement change that we haven’t had for years and I want to be part of a team that will take full advantage of that to make life better for Guatemalans.
