Graeme Thompson

I am an international development communications professional with 20 years experience in leading complex child rights and economic development projects to address real community development challenges in nine countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. My greatest strength is understanding the role of human-based storytelling in bringing to life project results. I have a talent for visualizing and identifying the situations and people who can best demonstrate the change that projects seek in a family, community, business or nation. I am passionate about the importance of bringing the voices of targeted people -- children, women, men, business owners -- to public and private spaces where their experiences can influence decisions which can improve their lives. And most importantly, I value the knowledge and experiences that diverse people bring to the table, and I can lead processes which strengthen the inclusion of their voices in decision-making.
