Currently I am working at the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), as Chief of Human Resources and Management Services under the Division of Human Resources and Administration. COMESA is one of the eight Regional Economic Communities recognized by the African Union. I am an experienced HR professional with a comprehensive strategic and operational understanding of Human Resources Management. Well versed and able to run operational human resources management, devise and implement coherent HR strategies whilst improving internal processes and procedures within a demanding environment. Presenting a track record in successfully influencing and communicating at a senior management level with International experience working within Sudan, Djibouti, Ethiopia and Zambia. I am a skilled HR Professional expert, in connecting HR processes to business results through qualitative and quantitative methods. Applying strategic workforce planning within the organization. Focusing on the data side of human resource management, by leveraging the power of HR data, to provide decision makers with the insights to make better people decisions. My contribution to this orgnization is to focus on building and designing new initiatives that will enable and drive change. Change can be a very difficult and complex to be achieved, and this is why implementing change requires passionate drivers with especial competencies to tackle the challenges, reduce the resistance and achieve goals. Furthermore to build a learning organization, as by continuous learning the institution and its employees will be more effective and efficient. In addition I will work to achieve transparency in work which means opening up to problems, accepting criticism and working to formulate effective responses to challenges.
