Summary

I currently serve as the Associate Branch Chief for Science, in the Global Health Center at the US CDC. I lead my branch's overall science, policy, and research activities, and serve as a senior advisor to the Branch Chief on scientific and epidemiological matters. Prior to that, I worked as a surveillance units lead in the Epidemiology and Surveillance branch in the Division of Global HIV & TB at US CDC. I have worked in various subject areas (HIV, TB, STIs, Typhoid, Ebola, COVID19, adolescent health, immunization etc) in more than a dozen countries. I have published more than 65 peer-reviewed papers, and my work has been cited more than 12,000 times. I also work as an independent public health consultant and have done consultancies for various agencies and organizations
