Hana Taha (She / Her)

Hana Taha, MSc, PhD Associate Professor of Global Public Health, in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the School of Medicine- The University of Jordan and a senior Global Public Health researcher at Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. Dr. Taha received a PhD in Global Public Health from Karolinska institutet, Sweden. She has expertise in teaching, curriculum development and public health programs leadership. Her multicultural background and technical expertise enabled her to accomplish success in assignments embracing Covid-19 surveillance and outbreaks investigations, health management, health systems strengthening, gender equity and women empowerment, noncommunicable diseases, maternal and child health, reproductive health, and family planning in Syrian refugees’ camps in Jordan and Lebanon. Dr. Taha has a global perspective to public health, a wealth of international experience and in-depth knowledge of teaching using innovative adult learning techniques.
