A former media professional having ten years of experience in journalism and reporting on social welfare issues with key interest in communication. I am passionate about bringing positive social change through exchange of knowledge and best practices. I have recently completed my post-graduation in Communication for Development from the University of Reading, UK, with the help of Chevening Scholarship awarded by the UK Government’s foreign and Commonwealth Office. I also hold a Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Shimla University, India. I have skills in writing, copy editing, designing and policy analysis as demonstrated through my work in three national newspapers and India’s leading news agency, Press Trust of India. I am looking forward to furthering my career in development sector with a particular focus on social welfare issues.
