Summary

I am a medical doctor by training and working in public health NGOs for more than 4 years. I am currently involved in malaria technical & programmatic management implementing GFATM grants in Myanmar en route to malaria elimination in Myanmar. I have expertise in developing health proposals using design, monitoring and evaluation tools, program evaluation, operational research in malaria. My research interests are in residual transmission, low transmission setting, asymptomatic malaria, p.vivax malaria and finding evidence for innovations for malaria elimination in Myanmar and GMS context. My professional interests are in global health, infectious disease epidemiology, theory-driven health promotion and behavioral change, infectious disease surveillance, public health researches using qualitative and mixed methods studies.
