Ibrahim Kasso

I am a professional person having over 20 years work experience at various Governmental, non-governmental (2 National NGOs 4 International NGOs ( Dan Church Aid, Oxfam America Horn of Africa Regional Office, Save the Children UK and, Actionaid UK) UN Agency (United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and Donor organizations ( Swedish Sida and SWISS Development Cooperation) at different capacities. Currently, I am working as Regional Programme Manager for Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation responsible for Migration and Development programme with African Union for continent wide support and with IGAD for Horn of Africa Region. I have been designing, managing the implementation of various developmental and humanitarian programmes and projects at different scale. I have also sound experience of managing huge grant worth over 30million USD at a time and supervised over 100 staffs and well familiar with major development partners ( USAID, DevCO, Sida, ECHO, DFID, OFDA, Japanese Government and other's rule, regulations and compliance. I have sound understanding of the current global dynamics and international development cooperation agendas, priories and focus areas inclduing least SDGs 2030, Agenda 2063 for Africa, Global Compact on Migration and Refugees and Paris Climate Deal.
