Ignacio Estevez

I am a Principal Associate with Banyan Global, with more than 30 years of experience in development finance, commercial banking, and advisory services. I manage global teams in support of expanding SME’s access to financial services. This has included leading a range of country-level assessments to explore supply and demand side financing constraints, and potential for leveraging the United States International Development Corporation (DFC) financing instruments. I also serve as Director of Access to Finance on the global USAID-funded Sustaining Health Outcomes through the Private Sector (SHOPS) Plus project. In this capacity, I lead programming to strengthen the business practices of private health sector facilities and identify and implement opportunities to leverage private sector capital for the private health sector, with an aim at improving health outcomes in USAID priority areas.
