Highly accomplished Health System Strengthening leader with more than 20 years of experience directing complex health programs in Rwanda and across Africa. Hold a vast technical expertise across Health System Strengthening (HSS) areas, the ability to manage high-value and complex USAID programs, reputation as a trusted leader across government stakeholders, and deep understanding of the Rwandan context. Worked to strengthen Rwanda’s health system through accomplishments in equipping the Rwanda Medical Supply (RMS) for direct receipt of USAID funds and institutionalizing the workforce development quality management improvement approach. Served also as Country Director for Rwanda and Cameroon for both the USAID Strengthening Pharmaceutical System (SPS) project and USAID Systems for Improved Access to Pharmaceuticals and Services (SIAPS) project. Also, she had supported through several assignments countries such as Senegal, Benin, Burundi, Gabon, respectively to improve the management of Global Fund grant, to build national capacity in forecasting and supply planning for antimalarial and HIV/AIDS products, to design and implement a Coordinated Procurement and Distribution System for pharmaceuticals. Served at a regional position as Principal Technical Advisor for the UNITAID funded Achieving Catalytic Expansion of Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention in the Sahel (ACCESS-SMC) project supporting countries’ such as Mali, Chad and Burkina Faso, National Malaria Control program to assess regulatory systems and supply chain system readiness to support the implementation of a malaria prevention program which provided Sulfoxide-Pyrimethamine/Amodiaquine to the under five children. Hold a Bachelor degree in Pharmacy science and a Master in Health Economy & Pharmacoeconomic.
