Irwan Hermantria is a professional consultant who currently working as Principal Business Consultant at Palladium Group, Indonesia, for the Rural Development Program under AIP-PRISMA (Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Promoting Rural Income through Support for Markets in Agriculture) since September 2015. In this role, Irwan Hermantria has been serving consultancies for Indonesian agricultural sectors, including market studies, identify market actors, distribution channels, deal making and marketing strategy. Prior to this, Irwan Hermantria was as a Sector Manager at the same program (AIP-PRISMA) during September 2014 to August 2015. Some agriculture sector that has managed by Irwan are Maize, Peanut, Shallot, Cashew, Seaweed and Vegetable. By using the M4P (Making Markets Work for the Poor) approach in market development, AIP-PRISMA its self operates the program within 5 provinces in Eastern Indonesia which are East Java, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, Papua and West Papua. Before working in the sector Rural Economic Development Program Irwan Hermantria has strong experience in Agriculture Research and Analyst at Noble Group Indonesia. During this period, Irwan Hermantria was in charge of Noble Group business analysis for its palm oil (Crude Palm Oil) of Global and rice of Indonesia. Irwan Hermantria developed supply and demand Index to support traders in making trade decision. Having the strong methodology of analysis Irwan conducted the analysis by covering the global production analysis mainly Indonesia and Malaysia, weather analysis (Analogy year), poll / telephonic surveys and statistical analysis based on historical data. His expertise also covers general agriculture business (supply chains) of sugar cane, ground nut, soy bean and cotton.
