UNIT / TEAM PURPOSE: To provide enhanced client oriented service delivery in the area of Single entry Visas, MEV and MOFA return for all UNMISS staffs, IICs, UNVs , Contractors in obtaining visas for UNMISS personnel at all levels in order to promote an atmosphere of trust and care. KEY FUNCTIONS: Visa processing (Multiple entries, Initial entries and G4s) request from all UNMISS personnel and RSCE counterparts Daily follow up with the South Sudan immigration authorities. TEAM GOAL FOR THIS CYCLE: Building/maintaining partnership and working relations based on trust and respect with all stakeholders which include UNMISS personnel, RSCE, South Sudan Immigration Authorities and UNHQ. Provide guidance and support to all UNMISS personnel in obtaining visas. Check MEV, MOFA, Single Entry visa for staff members. Provide guidance and advice on MEV, MOFA, Single Entry visa Communication: Enhance and maintain effective MEV, MOFA, Single Entry visa related communication that sharing to keep clients informed of services, conditions of service on all Visas. TEAM GOAL SUCCESS 1-Provide guidance and advice Visas matters. Provides advice, support and interpretation to Visas related policies and the government requirments. Advice firmly rooted in applicable policies, guidance, staff rules and regulations regarding Visas. 2-Decisions made are in accordance and always refer to the visas policy. Consistent interpretation/ implementation of Visa rules/policies. Staff are well-informed of the policy, changes and impact through constant communications Reduced numbers of errors and oversights on Visas. Accurate recording of Visas and issuing to the staff members. 3- Feedback to clients is within three working days upon receipt unless the query requires a further research and the client will be informed accordingly. Clients are more aware of policy changes and informed of their MEV, MOFA, Single Entry visa within the UN policies. Visa Client Survey shows 85% of clients satisfied with the levels of service provided on visasby the unit. Staff issues and Visas are resolved within 2-3 business days in coordination with government related offices. Visa unit maintains trusted relationship with partners and stakeholders. Visa unit normally conduct brifing to new arrivals on Visas related matters and how to apply. A quick turnaround on visa processing and issuance Positive feedback from mission personnel. Minimal complains from all stake holders (Mission, UNV)in regards to their request on Entry visa for their incoming staffs. 4- Team members are well informed and are able to provide input to a wide variety of Visas (single entry, G4, MEV and MOFA return) issues and questions.
