Summary

I am RN, Public Health professional and recently graduated from Uppsala University of Sweden in masters of International Humanitarian Action which is jointly given with University of Groningen, Netherlands specializing in Comprehensive Human security (Disaster Analysis and Intervention Design). I have worked for more than six years in area of Public Health and Clinical work in Ethiopia in different regions( as nurse and Public Health program Officer).

After graduating from Uppsala University, I joined MSF (Doctors without Borders) as an expatriate and so far I did seven international missions in five different countries (South Sudan, Zambia, DRC (Congo), Niger and Sudan in addition to the experiences I already had working in Ethiopia as national staff with other NGOs (Save the Children and FHI). My roles working with MSF were different from mission to mission including medical team leader, nursing activities manager and hospital activities manager.

With Save the Children, I did one need assessment on Adolescent Reproductive and Sexual health (ARSH) in Ethiopia in 2011 which the organization has used as baseline to lounch ARSH activities according to the findings of the assessment.

I also worked in government facilities in Ethiopia as nurse and manager.
