James is a practicing solicitor in the corporate practice group of an international law firm. Previously, he was an infantry team leader in the Australian Defence Force. Throughout a ten-year career, James has led multinational forces in war fighting and peace keeping operations in the Solomon Islands, Timor Leste, Iraq and Afghanistan.
James is an accomplished and versatile individual with proven leadership in complex and demanding environments. He is an effective communicator, able to influence multiple stakeholders by example, rapport and collaboration. Through his military experience, James has developed highly effective interpersonal and managerial skills. This has enabled him to become methodical, adaptive and proactive in his approach to project management.
