Lawyer with more than twelve years of experience, six of them working as a Legal Adviser for the Peruvian Government on International Legal Issues and Human Rights. Master of International Development Policy at Duke University. Current Project Coordinator of two projects on human mobility, regarding the situation of the Venezuelan population in Peru. Provided Legal Advice about the bilateral relationships of Peru with other countries of the Americas, including the political and legal repercussions of the situation of Venezuela (regarding the Group of Lima) and its referral to the International Criminal Court. Appointed as Technical Secretariat of the internal commission of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights for the transversalization of the gender approach (2014). Participated in the elaboration of the National Plan of Human Rights (2014-2016). Designed the methodology for the First National Survey on the Perceptions of Human Rights (2013). Participated in the first official research to determine how many homicides were committed against the LGTBIQ population. Conceptualized and designed the Digital Platform against Discrimination. Provided legal support on key political events (first Presidential Pardon of Former President Fujimori). Professional experience also involves the European Union’s Election Observation Mission, advocacy of children’s rights, and teaching and research experience in Public International Law (general), Human Rights, International Humanitarian Law, and International Criminal Law.
