Jody R. Weiss is a mass-consumer marketer, fund-raiser and media expert, with a special focus on the transformation of consciousness through the lens of human rights. Ms. Weiss launched PeaceKeeper™ Cause-Metics™ in 2002 and served as the company’s CEO. PeaceKeeper was one of the first cosmetics company to offer 75%+ organic ingredients and to give donations to urgent human rights issues and was sold in 500+ stores. Recently, Weiss worked with the World Bank on a gender equality campaign called WEvolve in India and Africa. Weiss was the New Business Development Director for a concert series and campaign called 1Future Presents Not Yet Free, which explores solutions for ending racism. Programming from this series was filmed for NHK/PBS and will be aired on PBS in August, 2017. Weiss is the External New Business Development Director for the Peace Boat, which is a cruise liner run by Nobel Prize nominee, Yoshioka Tatsuya.
